Silke Thompson has lived, worked and studied for 10 years as an expatriate, in the USA and France. Therefore she understands the challenges of a professional, a trailing spouse and a mother abroad.

She gained her international and professional experience as an executive in product development and management within worldwide operating textile companies.

With the motto: ""As many intercultural competencies as possible, as much homeland as necessary!" Silke supports organizations and individual clients, with professional coaching and training to create a successful expatriation out of or into Germany. In order to do this, she also coordinates a team of German speaking coaches, worldwide and coaches from other cultures in Germany, all of them speaking several languages. They not only have in depth knowledge of the local living and working conditions, but also understand the cultural background of their coaching partners. In addition, they speak their clients' mother tongue and know the challenges of being an expatriate by experience..

For 6 years, Silke Thompson successfully headed the German division of an international supplier of Dual Career Services and Intercultural Trainings, as the local director, being responsible for the team, marketing and sales.

After having started out with an apprenticeship in dressmaking, followed by studying fashion design and a post graduate degree in product management/marketing for the fashion and textile Industry, she completed her education with an MBA. While working in the textile industry, Silke also worked closely with people from Indian, Turkish and South American cultures.

Silke received her coach training from Coach U and is ACC certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Since June 2011 she serves as chapter host of the ICF Munich team.

Silke Thompson also is the coordinator for German speaking coaches worldwide for ReciproCoach: reciprocal peer coaching, mentoring and supervision.

She works in German, English and French and speaks Spanish.

Gesa Krämer has lived and worked in Spain and in France. Her fields of study were Intercultural Communication, Business Administration and Spanish. During her working career she was responsible for personnel marketing of an international industrial firm and for coordinating and implementing a marketing strategy in Europe. She also served as a coach for sales forces as well as sales engineers.

In the business world, she supervises processes in intercultural management and marketing as a free-lance trainer and consultant, and supports management executives, expatriates and families as a coach.

Her area of expertise is the culture of teams, departments, companies and nations and their effective collaboration. As a body-psychotherapist and self-employed coach she has a large international clientele. Gesa is able to carry out her skills in four languages – English, Spanish, French and German.

Aside from university teaching assignments in intercultural communication, in intercultural coaching and international posting, she has also authored the books “Interkulturelle Kommunikation mit NLP”, Berlin 2006 and “Arbeiten im Ausland”, Bielefeld 2008.

In a holistic as well as practical approach, she encourages individuals as well as firms to embrace personal and cultural diversity and to utilize it successfully in private and job-related settings.

A practicing coach since 1996,
Kirsten Nazarkiewicz
has been assisting people in finding their own way in times of change and disruption. As an associate of an international coaching organization for dual career couples she established and represented the German site. She also assisted and coached families upon their arrival to or departure from Germany for 6 years.

She has a degree in Social Sciences to which she later added a second degree in Adult Education. Her pedagogic portfolio includes research work and experience as a systemic coach.

Together with Gesa Krämer she published the guidebook “Arbeiten im Ausland” (Bielefeld 2008).

She is founder of the network “Intercultural Experts” and is an experienced specialist in intercultural career coaching and training. Her international experience was initially garnered over a period of ten years as a supervisor of cabin crew for Lufthansa German Airlines.

As a self-employed trainer she and Intercultural Experts support and prepare business professionals and executives from all over the world for stays abroad, as well as for working collaborations with members of other cultures.

Her daily work consists of virtual and international projects, establishing networks and fostering relationships – experience from which you too can profit. She can conduct her coachings in German and English; in addition, she speaks French and Spanish.
